
Last week, three of our students were invited by the SCC to participate in a talent tour highlighting the trades. They toured Delta College's machining shop and learned more about what students in the trades programs at Delta learn. They were also treated to lunch and a tour at Fullerton Tool.





FYI - This afternoon we are hosting our Annual Huskie Classic Track and Field event. For the safety of our field event athletes, the service drive will be closed during afternoon pick up. Please drive SAFE.

Attention HIGH SCHOOL students only... Due to construction traffic concerns and Friday HIGH SCHOOL activities. Non bus riding HIGH SCHOOL students will be dismissed at 1pm in Friday due to parking lot saftey concerns.


The annual "Love of the Arts Night" will take place tomorrow - Tuesday, May 7th, 5-9pm in the high school. Advanced tickets are $5 and $6 at the door. Come check out the wonderful art from students around the district.

Due to the construction in the area and in effort to avoid confusion, the High School Band “Concert in the Park” will be held in the HS Gym this Sunday, May 5th. The concert will start at 3pm. The student call times are: 2pm and 1pm for percussion.

It's a packed house at Combo hall in Detroit at the World Robotics Championships. Good luck Hemlocks Gray Matter team!!!

Hemlock Public School District celebrated Earth Day with honors. Hemlock was the first and only school to receive the Green School Flag in Saginaw County for developing an environmentally friendly focus.

Happy Earth day! Today at 9am Hemlock High School will be awarded the first Green School in Saginaw county.

Hemlock Public Schools was well represented by three outstanding junior students this year at the Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute. Sydney Peake, Mitchel Hingston and Kendra Salo. These students were able to learn new leadership techniques to add to their leadership tool chest. Go Huskies!!!

Reminder - This Friday is the last day to put your deposit in for the senior trip.
Senior Trip - Friday, May 24th
Place - KALAHARI WATERPARK in Sandusky, Ohio
A $25 Deposit is required and needs to be paid by Friday, March 22nd.
Deposits can be paid by cash or check made out to Hemlock Public School District and turned into the office. Deposits are necessary to reserve the charter bus and hold a place for our group with Kalahari. We will leave the high school early morning Friday, May 24th and spend the day at the water park with dinner afterwards and return to the high school late that evening.

The Saginaw ISD will be hosting a STEM fair on April 6th from 9:30 to 2:00. Admission is free and it is a great opportunity to learn about STEM activities.
