Led by Head Coach Nick Prezzato, the team will compete through PlayVS in a variety of esports titles while building valuable skills both in and out of competition.
Esports at Hemlock is about more than gaming. Students develop teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, leadership, accountability, and problem-solving skills while exploring future opportunities in STEM and technology-related fields.
The launch of the program reflects Hemlock’s continued commitment to expanding student opportunities, creating inclusive spaces, and building innovative programs that connect student interests with future-ready skills.

The Huskies captured the Mid American Pompon Class C/D State Championship title, capping off an unforgettable season filled with growth, resilience, and team success.
Throughout the year, the team embraced Hemlock’s “Pull the Sled” mindset, supporting one another and working together toward a shared goal. Their dedication showed all season long, from strong performances at summer camp and regional competitions to first-place finishes at both the Michigan Pom Association Competition and the Mid American Pompon State Championship.
The team also earned several individual honors, with six athletes being selected to the Mid American Pompon All Star Team and earning opportunities to perform at major events including the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Cedar Point, and Walt Disney World.
Beyond the awards and titles, this group built a culture centered on encouragement, accountability, and shared leadership. These qualities that helped define one of the most successful seasons in program history.
Congratulations to the athletes, coaches, and families who made this incredible season possible.

Students, staff, community members, and supporters gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new facility, marking another major investment in opportunities for Hemlock students and the future of Huskie athletics and activities.
The Legend Gymnasium was created to provide a high-quality, student-centered space that will serve students, teams, families, and the community for years to come. From athletic competitions to community use, the facility is already making an impact across the district.
The project represents the power of community support and Hemlock’s continued commitment to creating big opportunities for students in a small-town district.

The event welcomed community members, alumni, former players, families, and honored guests as the district celebrated a major investment in student opportunities and athletics.
Named in honor of legendary Hemlock educators and coaches Bob Wallace and Don Krueger, the facility stands as a tribute to the generations of students and athletes they impacted through leadership, dedication, and service to Hemlock Schools.
The evening included a commemorative walk around the new track, recognition of the undefeated 1974 football team, tributes to Wallace and Krueger, and a celebration of the strong community support that helped bring the project to life.
Now serving as the home of Hemlock High School Football and Track & Field, the complex represents Hemlock’s continued commitment to student growth, teamwork, wellness, and excellence for years to come.

Led by Coach Phil, the Huskies showed steady growth and competitiveness throughout the season while representing Hemlock with pride on and off the course.
The team earned several top-ten finishes, including a first-place finish at the Breckenridge Invitational. Freshman Maylin Buckley earned Conference Honorable Mention honors and qualified individually for the MHSAA State Finals, where she finished 17th overall.
The inaugural season also marked an important milestone for seniors Victoria Hauffe, Bree Bierman, and Allie Watson, who helped establish the foundation for the future of girls golf at Hemlock High School.
From the first tee shot to the final round of the season, the Huskies built a strong foundation and an exciting future for the program.
