The Hemlock High School Student Council is hosting a Dress Sale on Saturday, February 21, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM in the High School Commons!
We’re now collecting gently used Homecoming and Prom dresses, shoes, and purses through the Friday prior to the event. 👗 Community members may drop items off at the high school front office, and current students can bring items to Room 13 to Mrs. Provoast or Mrs. Bell.
Items should be on a hanger and include the seller’s name, phone number, and asking price. Sellers set their own prices, and Student Council will retain 20% of each sale to support student activities—helping students earn money toward future formalwear while making room in their closets.
With Prom on April 11, this is a great opportunity to shop affordably or pass along dresses to another Huskie. Graduates and community members are encouraged to participate.
• Parking: Little Elementary lot
• Entrance: South side of the high school near the bus drop-off

It’s National School Counseling Week, and we’re proud to recognize our High School Dean of Students, Mr. Boros! Mr. Boros is a constant advocate for our Huskies-supporting students through challenges, celebrating their successes, and helping them stay focused on their goals for the future. Through his leadership, guidance, and genuine care, he plays a key role in creating a supportive, respectful, and student-centered school environment.

Thank you, Mr. Boros, for your dedication to our students and for all you do to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally!

Through Michigan Virtual, Hemlock students can take online AP courses. These courses are fully managed by MI Virtual teachers with their own curriculum and grading system, providing a different and challenging way to explore advanced subjects.
For guidance on whether MI Virtual AP courses could fit your schedule, reach out to Kyle Boros, Dean of Students.

It is with great honor that Hemlock High School announces the Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and the additional Top Honor Students for the Graduating class of 2026. This year’s graduating class ranking was determined using the power formula, which factors in both the student’s GPA and their SAT score to produce a final ranking for each student.

The Valedictorian for the class of 2026 is William Salowitz, and the Salutatorian is Katie Fuller. Their diligence in the classroom and on the SAT demonstrates their commitment to academic excellence.

The next Top Ten students have shown their hard work and dedication to their education, as well. Rylee Sullivan, Vivian Ryan, Hunter Gage, Christian Garcia, Allie Watson, Sawyer Berger, Victoria Hauffe, Adelia Breternitz, Brennan Meyer and Lyndsey Lyscas.

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Hemlock High School, it has been an honor to work with each of these students. You have each made a lasting impact on Hemlock High School, and we expect this to be simply the start of bigger and better things for each of you.
