It is with highest honor to announce Joshua Roberson as Hemlock High School’s Class of 2025 Salutatorian. He is the son of Mike and Betsy Roberson. Throughout his time at Hemlock High School, Josh has demonstrated dedication, hard work, and leadership in a variety of areas. Josh has been a valued member of the National Honor Society for two years, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence and community service. In addition to his academic achievements, Josh has been an active member of the Trap Shooting Team, where he displayed his passion for sportsmanship and teamwork. Outside of school, Josh has been an engaged member of the Floyd Church of God Youth Group, where he has built meaningful relationships and contributed to his community. Looking ahead, Josh will be attending Saginaw Valley State University to pursue a major in Mechanical Engineering. It is with honor to announce Spence Burns as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. He is the son of Tim and Carrie Burns. During his time at Hemlock High School, Spence has earned a well-deserved spot on the Delta College President's List. He has been a dedicated member of the Youth Ambassadors Program for four years and has been honored as a member of the National Honor Society for two years. In addition, Spence played a pivotal role in securing victory for his team in the Mock Trial. As a two-time captain of the Hemlock High School tennis team, Spence dominated the court, holding the #1 Singles position for two consecutive years. Known for his leadership and enthusiasm, Spence is also a proud leader of the student section, where his spirited support has brought energy and excitement to numerous school events. This fall, Spence will be attending the University of Indiana to pursue a major in Finance, where he will continue to excel and make an impact. It is with honor to announce Isabelle Krueger as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Isabelle is daughter of David and Sarah Krueger. Throughout her time at Hemlock High School, Isabelle Krueger has been an accomplished and well-rounded student-athlete. She is an active member of both the Student Council and National Honor Society, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to academics. Izzy has been recognized as an Academic All-State for Volleyball and earned All Conference, District, and Regional honors for Soccer. She was part of the Soccer team that secured back-to-back District titles in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, Isabelle is a three-time State qualifier in Track and Field. Isabelle was also a vital member of the Basketball team that brought home the State Championship in 2023, further cementing her legacy as a dedicated athlete. This fall, Izzy plans to attend Indiana Wesleyan University, where she will continue her academic journey while running for the Track and Field team. During his time at Hemlock High School, Landon has demonstrated unparalleled dedication, athleticism, and leadership. He has earned 17 different varsity letters and pins, showcasing his commitment to excellence in multiple sports. He has been an active member of both the Student Council and the National Honor Society, demonstrating his leadership and academic achievements. Landon has earned All-State recognition in Football, and he has been a 4-time District Champion and 4-time State Qualifier in Wrestling. His impressive achievements in both sports have earned him 4 school records, highlighting his exceptional talent and hard work. Looking ahead, Landon will attend Ohio Northern University to major in Exercise Science. He is committed to play Football for Ohio Northern University, in the fall, a monumental step forward in both his athletic and academic careers. During her time at Hemlock High School, Kassandra has earned a place in the National Honor Society for two years, demonstrating her commitment to excellence. She was honored with a TVC Sportsmanship Award for her outstanding sportsmanship in tennis. Kassie has also been an active member of the Powerlifting team for three years and served as a Chief Science Officer for one year, further showcasing her leadership skills.
