Katie’s high school career has been marked by exceptional academic achievement and leadership. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a Delta College President’s List honoree, and a recipient of the National Recognition Program: Rural and Small Town Award.
In athletics, Katie serves as Track and Field Team Captain and has earned both the Tri-Valley Conference Cross Country Academic All-Conference Award and the Tri-Valley Conference Track and Field Sportsmanship Award, demonstrating excellence in performance, character, and leadership.
After graduation, Katie will be attending Michigan State University to major in Chemistry. We are confident she will continue to achieve great things in this next chapter!

Artwork from Hemlock High School’s upper-level art classes is currently on display at the Saginaw Valley State University Gallery High School Exhibit, running through April 11.
Gallery hours are Monday–Saturday from 11 AM–3 PM, with extended hours on Thursdays from 11 AM–6 PM.
A reception for the artists and their friends and families is April 11, 12–2 PM. Stop by and celebrate their incredible work!

Hemlock High School students helped bring stories to life in our elementary classrooms last Friday! 📚
As part of March is Reading Month, some of our high school students visited Hemlock Elementary to celebrate Read Across America and share their love of reading with younger Huskies.
Student leaders from football, basketball, band, poms, and the robotics team spent time reading stories, answering questions, and connecting with elementary students who were excited to learn from some of their biggest role models.
Moments like this show what being a Hemlock Huskie is all about - leadership, community, and supporting one another at every level. We are proud of our students for taking the time to inspire the next generation of readers!
