Our halls were filled with island vibes today as students celebrated Hawaiian Christmas Spirit Day! Despite the winter weather outside, the warmth of school spirit was on full display with leis, Hawaiian shirts, and lots of festive smiles. 🌴☀️

We’re excited to share that the indoor mini Kona Ice station will be visiting Hemlock Middle School on Monday, December 15th, as part of our Mele Kalikimaka Hawaiian Christmas! 🍧🌴
Students will have the opportunity to purchase a Kona Ice for $5. We hope to make sure any student who would like a Kona Ice can enjoy one.

There will be a lot of 6 and 7's floating around, a lot of proudly proclaiming what day it is and to top it off we will have a 6 and 7 hidden in our Donut Day festivities. Have a great day Huskies!

Today, our students got to put their “math skills” to the test… on their teachers! 😆 🎉💰 All week long, students dropped spare change into the buckets, and each coin meant our teachers had to count it before starting class.
The result? Lots of laughs, lots of counting, and definitely a few delayed lessons! 🪙🪙🪙
