Don't forget that the Washington DC Parent & Chaperone meeting is this Thursday, October 16th. Mrs. Bishop will be there to give details and answer any final questions that you may have regarding this trip. See you soon!

Mrs. Dixons' ELA class has been learning about corn and today they wrapped up their unit by making a corn craft. Super cool way to end the day!

HMS would like to give a huge SHOUT OUT to our Principal Mrs. Gensch!!
From the greetings in the morning to getting everyone on the bus, and everything in between she has made sure to be there for her students and staff. Thank you for being kind hearted, yet taking on the tough stuff and always here when we need you.
We are grateful, thankful and blessed to have you here!

Our HMS PTO needs YOU!! It's not that hard and even if you can't make every event, please stop by the school on Thursday, October 23rd and see how you can help out. If we don't get enough people to help, we won't have a PTO to do a few fun things for our students throughout the year. We hope that you consider joining our HMS PTO group.

A huge THANK YOU to the Hemlock Community Pep Club for their generous donation to Hemlock Public Schools Physical Education Program. A classroom set of pickleball paddles will help us foster a love of racquet sports that can last a lifetime. The game of pickleball has gone "viral" with The Pickleheads database now includes 68,458 courts, with 18,455 new courts added in 2024 (USA Pickleball). The paddles will be shared among Ling Elementary, Hemlock Middle School, and Hemlock High School.

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!
HMS would like to take a minute to recognize our custodial staff for all of their hard work and dedication in making our school "SPARKLE". Thank you for everything that you do every day!
