Hemlock Instrument Repair Center Treats First Victim After a successful Donors Choose campaign that secured around $900 worth of tools and instrument repair equipment, the Hemlock Instrument Repair Center got its first patient. The patient was a trusty old cornet that had lost its finger hook. With the help of some cool tools that were part of the donation, including a propane fired blow-torch, the finger ring was soldered back into place and the cornet is good as new! Be on the lookout for after pics, and if you are interested in seeing videos of the repair process, student-done repairs, or a tour of the repair center and its progress, comment below and let us know!

We are excited to share that Hemlock High School will return to face-to-face learning on Thursday, May 13th. We have conducted a deep cleaning during this time, examined our data, and are ready to welcome students back into the building. As we continue to review and reflect, it does appear that positive cases, albeit minimal, are not connected to school but rather community spread. We encourage everyone to be vigilant at home and school. Thank you for your understanding in these difficult times.
