High School -

It is with honor to announce Lillian Martinez as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Lillian is the daughter of John and Diana Martinez. Lilly has excelled in every aspect of her time at Hemlock High School, showcasing dedication, skill, and leadership. Lillian has earned All-State recognition in both Softball and Track and Field, and has been named an All-State Academic in Volleyball, Softball, and Track and Field. She is a three-time state qualifier in Track and Field and was a key member of the 2023 Softball District Qualifying Team. Her greatest achievement to date is her commitment to play Softball for Valparaiso University in Indiana, a monumental step forward in both her athletic and academic careers. Looking to the future, Lillian plans to attend Valparaiso University to pursue a major in Engineering. We congratulate Lilly on her remarkable achievements and look forward to all that she will accomplish in the next chapter of her journey!

Wishing senior Alathea McMillan and her team from the Saginaw Career Complex Medical Careers program the best of luck as they head to the HOSA State Competition in Traverse City today. Alathea qualified alongside Amya Duron from Swan Valley High School and Kelsey Sumption from Freeland High School.
