Staff Spotlight: Chad Inabinet - Dean of Students Get to know Chad Inabinet, our fantastic Dean of Students at Hemlock Middle School, who joined the Huskie Pack at the start of this school year! In a short time, Chad has been deeply impressed by the students, staff, and families of our district, especially his incredible team at HMS. He's proud to be "pulling the sled" and contributing to our tradition of innovation, collaboration, and education. What Chad loves most about his role is the daily opportunity to work directly with students and their families, playing an active part in their lives both inside and outside the classroom. His focus every day is on supporting their growth and ensuring that Hemlock Middle School is a meaningful part of their journey. As Dean of Students, Chad supports student health holistically – socially, emotionally, and physically. He collaborates closely with families, staff, and support personnel to break down barriers that might prevent a student from thriving. Whether it's through behavioral and attendance support, fostering positive peer relationships, addressing mental health, or ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, Chad's goal is to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and set up for success. Chad believes that student wellness is foundational to learning, especially in a close-knit community like ours where the school often serves as a central support system. When students feel safe and emotionally healthy, they are more engaged and build stronger connections. One thing Chad wishes more people knew is the vital importance of strong relationships and open communication between the school and families. "We are only as successful as we are united," he shares. His favorite quote, "Teamwork makes the dream work!" encapsulates his belief in the power of a united school community where students, families, and staff work together for shared success. And a fun fact about Chad? He's known for his unique and conversation-starting style, often sporting memorable clothing, hats, socks, and shoes – and he's always proudly wearing his Huskie gear! Thank you, Chad, for your dedication to our students and for being such a positive force in the Huskie Pack. #StaffSpotlight #DeanOfStudents #StudentSupport #HemlockPride #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork

Rained out again, our Earth Day project for the Bill Agresta Cross Country Course is cancelled for tomorrow due to weather and course conditions. We are going to coordinate with our Ling, MS, and HS buildings and have coordinated efforts to make improvements before the end of the school year, but not a mass #PullTheSled effort as previously planned. Coach Agresta, please tell those Angels to stop crying so we can implement your course improvements as planned.

These projects are more than just buildings. They represent our commitment to preparing students for the future, supporting staff innovation, and creating spaces where bold ideas can take root and grow. The best part?
