United Way helping serve dinner to those at the temporary shelter at Hemlock High School last night.
The home of the Huskies has turned into a home for those impacted by the flooding in our area. Last night, we housed 50+ people within the high school and many more in campers and in the parking lot. Right now, we are all set with toiletries (thanks, Sam Turner, Haltom family, and others), perishable good, and meals for the day. We will accept non-perishable items like bottled water, snacks, etc. but right now it looks like we have enough to get us through the day. We are overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness of our community. At this time, we are not able to accept any more items. We have dinner tonight, breakfast and lunch covered tomorrow, and enough munchies to make it through the rest of 2020. The only need we may have is a fourth person for our 2 AM euchre tournament. #thankyou

We have drive-up pick up from 10 AM -12 noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the Eastside of Hemlock Middle School at door #29 and deliveries upon request (989) 642-4700. Raycbolz Memorial Library Summer Reading Program is right around the corner!
Attention SENIORS-On Thursday May 14th when you pick up your caps and gowns we will be collecting books and Chrome books with chargers from those SENIORS that are currently passing ALL CLASSES. If you are not passing a class you are still active in the class and are expected to continue to complete your assignments until you are passing that class to earn your credit. I will see you Thursday and remember I will be taking a cap and gown picture of you when you pick them up.
