The MS Parent/Athlete Meeting- for wrestling, girls basketball and pom pon will be held on Thursday, November 1st at 5pm in the cafeteria.




Spelling Bee- If you are interested in participating in the 2018-19 spelling bee. Please sign up in the office or see Mrs. Garrett. Practice will begin November 6. Come join 3 time state champion in his final year of competition.


Picture Retakes- (TOMORROW) October 24th If you are getting retakes, please bring back your packet of pictures.


End of the 1st Marking Period- October 26. Reminder to 6th, 7th and 8th graders- you must pass both marking periods of a core class or one marking period plus a semester exam in order to pass the semester.

Huskie Spirit T-Shirt Design Contest- submit an appropriate drawing, phrase, or picture of what you feel best represents the Huskie Spirit. The winning design will also be featured on our Spirit Shirt and orders will be placed online. The WINNER will receive a t-shirt with their design and $25.00. Forms are available in the office. Saginaw Spirit Hockey- is hosting their second annual “Robotics Night” on Sunday, November 4. Ticket order forms are available in the office the office. Tickets are $13.00 payable by check to Hemlock Public Schools. Hemlock Robotics receives $5.00 back from every purchase. Middle School and High School robotic teams will have displays set up prior to the game in the Blue Line Club from 4:00-5:00.

The middle school cross country teams ran in the Tri Valley Conference Overall Championships. Finishing in 4th was Chloe Watson, good for first team All-Conference. Chloe is now tied for fastest all-time on our record board. Finishing in 5th place was Luke Zastrow, also making first team All-Conference.


As a wrap up to the soccer season, our 8th graders playing in a scrimmage against the High School JV boys and girls. It was the final game they will play in our Hemlock soccer league.

The Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra will be hosting auditions Wednesday, January 2nd and Friday, January 4th. Students are encouraged to audition. The SBYO meets Sundays, from 2-5 at the Temple Theatre. Great win for our 6th Grade Girls against St Elizabeth in Reese, their team had 3 very tall and very good 8th Graders but we came away with the win!!!
