Being creative isn’t as easy when you have been told what to do for every project. My students are learning how to “wish” during the ideate process of Invention Convention projects.



With the 2nd straight win by the 8th graders in Wednesday's Color Wars, here is the updated point totals for the 2020-21 Class Cup.
Spirit Week will be a large amount of points being handed out come next week! Be prepared for the days to be announced at the end of the day on Thursday!

Richland Township Park News
The ice rink is ready to enjoy and plowed. Weather permitting it should stay good for a while. The Park Supervisor has programmed the lights to come on from 5:30pm - 10:00pm.

Due to the snow day, the Class Color Competition, hosted by the Student Council, will be moved to Wednesday, February 17.
As a helpful reminder, the class colors are:
8TH - red
7TH - purple
6TH - green
5TH - orange


The HMS Student Council is holding its 2nd Class Color Competition on Tuesday, February 16. Winning grade will receive a reward along with 20 points to the Class Cup. The current totals for the cup are as follows.

6th grade STEAM students in Mrs. Kato’s class are learning about 3D printing. Using Tinkercad the students are designing their own cell phone holder for hands free watching. #innovate #empower



Tomorrow is our Spring Count Day for the State of Michigan. Please be sure our healthy students are in attendance. If a student is absent, please email the building secretaries or send a doctor's note to excuse the student.

Regretfully, the Tri-Valley Conference has cancelled winter Middle School sports seasons for the 20-21 school year. Delays and the limited availability of game officials led to this decision. We look forward to Middle School track in April. A real bummer for our students.
