Brrrrr! Just kidding - it's not actually snowing (yet), but the changing weather means that students need coats these days. Don't forget to send your child to school with a coat every day (and maybe even a hat and mittens), so they can stay warm out on the playground. School Social Worker Ms. Rebekah Harris paid a visit to the kindergarteners in Ms. Kelly's class to give a social-emotional lesson. With the help of The Crayons' Book of Feelings, students learned how to recognize, understand, and express all of their big emotions.

As we close out National Principals Month, we’re celebrating Assistant Principal Amanda Sensabaugh at Hemlock Middle School.
This week, Director of Curriculum & Instruction Lindy Beckman and Superintendent Dr. Don Killingbeck stopped by with a small token of appreciation and a big thank you. Assistant Principal Sensabaugh is a steady, student-centered leader who is always focused on doing what’s best for kids and supporting staff. She’s the person who quietly makes sure students feel seen, parents feel heard, and classrooms get what they need.
