Behind every tray served is a whole lot of heart. These amazing women do so much more than prepare meals. They greet our students with smiles, offer kind words, and make sure every Huskie is nourished, cared for, and ready to learn.

Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact they make is felt in every classroom, every day. We are so grateful for the love, dedication, and energy they pour into our school community.

Today we celebrate our very own Mr. Snider for School Principal’s Day! Seeing his elementary school photo next to who he is today is a powerful reminder that every big dream starts right where our students are now - sitting in classrooms, learning, growing, and discovering who they’re meant to be.

Our marquee says it best: “Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow.” And Mr. Snider is living proof of that message every single day. From a young learner to an inspiring leader, he shows our Huskies what’s possible with hard work, heart, and a commitment to others.

There’s just something special about learning new things outside the classroom. Our 2nd graders in Ms. Little’s class spent part of recess today learning how to make daisy chains—and they absolutely loved it! From carefully picking the perfect flowers to helping each other string them together, this was teamwork, creativity, and a little bit of springtime magic all in one 💛 Sometimes the best lessons happen in the simplest moments.

It was a great day at K.C. Ling Elementary as we wrapped up our Acceptance Month dress-up days with Jersey Day!

Jerseys represent being part of a team, and that’s exactly what we are here at Ling. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or throughout our school, we show up for one another, support each other, and work together toward a common goal.

Our students and staff did an amazing job showing their team spirit all month, reminding us all that when we work together, we are stronger. 💪

Recess = GAME ON! Ms. Hollingsworth took things to the next level at recess, challenging our 4th graders to a few rounds of HORSE, and let’s just say, the competition was fierce and the shots were impressive! 🏀 From trick shots to buzzer-beaters (okay… maybe recess bell-beaters 😄), there was no shortage of laughs and school spirit.

Nothing beats seeing our students and staff connecting, having fun, and making memories together!

Mrs. Green’s 3rd graders have been busy diving into research as they gather information for their opinion papers. From asking thoughtful questions to exploring different sources, these students are building strong ideas and learning how to support them with evidence.

Mrs. Siler’s 1st graders have been hard at work in art class, creating their own colorful Heart Murals inspired by artist Chris Uphues. From sharing ideas to helping one another bring their visions to life, these young artists showed incredible creativity and outstanding teamwork every step of the way! 🎨

We love seeing our students collaborate, encourage each other, and take pride in their masterpieces. Way to go, 1st grade!

What a fantastic evening celebrating our 2nd and 3rd graders at their Spring Music Concerts! 🎶 Our students truly shined on stage showcasing their hard work, confidence, and incredible talent. From start to finish, their performances were something special, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them! 💙

Thank you to all of our families who came out to support our students. Your presence means so much and helps make these moments even more memorable for our kids. We appreciate your continued support and encouragement!

Our 4th graders have been hard at work in Ms. Walker’s and Mrs. Wilson’s math groups, sharpening their skills and reviewing partial quotients as they get ready for the MSTEP this week! We are so proud of the focus, determination, and teamwork we’re seeing every day. These students have put in the time, asked questions, and pushed themselves to grow - and it shows!
