Let's Move Michigan for Safe Sleep! Ms. Kalie, lead teacher in the HECC infant room, is participating in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Virtual 5K to promote Infant Safe Sleep. With a helping hand from our youngest Little Huskies, she's walking to raise awareness for one of the most important issues facing families today - keeping our infants safe while they sleep. We're incredibly proud of Ms. Kalie and the work she's doing both in and out of the classroom to keep our babies healthy and happy. Today in Ms. Shantz's kindergarten class, carefully raised caterpillars were released as beautiful butterflies. The students were truly amazed as they watched these new friends embark on their journey into the world.
