What does my child need to attend the Hemlock Preschool Program?
1. Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2023.
2. Must be fully potty trained.
3. Must have a current health appraisal form and a copy of immunizations records.

It's time to enroll your Young 5/Kindergarten student for the 2023-24 school year. If your child is currently enrolled in Young 5s, you do not need to re-enroll. Click on the link below to pre-register your child for the upcoming school year:

Great Start Readiness Program will begin accepting new applications in February. This is an income-based program with qualifying risk factors that is available to only 4-year olds. Your child must be four by September 1, 2023.
Where do I apply? You would go to the website, which is michiganpreschool.org (Make sure to check that you have registered for the 2023/24 school year. The application will have the current year unless you select a different year.)
Who is eligible? Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023 and meet income guidelines.
When am I notified of my child's acceptance? Acceptance letters are sent out mid-August.
Preschool Enrollment will begin on Monday, February 27th at 8:00am. The application will be completed electronically. As the registration date approaches enrollment details and updated program information will be posted to our website.
Preschool will be closed on Monday, January 16th.
The Hemlock Preschool Program will be closed from Thursday December 22nd to January 3rd. We will return to school on Wednesday January 4th. Happy Holidays to our Hemlock Families!!!

Just a reminder we will be hosting Parent Teacher Conferences on December 8th and 9th for the children who are enrolled in the Preschool Program. The conferences will take place in your child's classroom. We look forward to meeting with you!!!
