Monday officially kicks off Spirit Week but this week, the Hemlock Elementary teachers went undercover to show their Christmas Spirit. Each day the teachers and staff represent a secret theme which students can guess. Can you figure it out?

When the weather cools off we can still have lots of outdoor fun in preschool!

During recess today, one of our curious students discovered a little wriggly friend—a worm. 🪱 This unexpected find turned into an impromptu science lesson about the important role worms play in our ecosystem. 🌍 From talking about soil health to learning how worms help plants grow, this hands-on moment was a wonderful reminder that the world around us is full of opportunities to explore, discover, and learn.
Way to go, #HemlockHuskies - for turning curiosity into a teachable moment.

This is a reminder that as the winter weather quickly approaches, please send your students with cold weather essentials for our recess time. #HemlockHuskies
