Today some of our kindergarteners had the opportunity to create worry stones with our school social worker, Ms. Rebekah. They each made their own special stone out of clay and learned an important lesson about regulating emotions.

It's never too cold for a snow cone! Hemlock Elementary kids are kicking off Spring Break today by enjoying a Kona Ice. The best part? Each child got their snow cone for FREE thanks to the generosity of the Hemlock Elementary PTO. Thank you to this awesome organization for doing so much to support our kids!

We at Hemlock Elementary + ECC had an awesome St. Patrick's Day yesterday. As well as the green clothing we spotted festive cereal, four-leaf clovers, plenty of green glitter and tinsel, and even some mysterious, leprechaun-size footprints.
