Adelia Breternitz has competed on the wrestling team for three years and the cross country team for one year. Her favorite athletic memory is competing hard at every wrestling tournament and then celebrating afterward with her teammates at dinner. Adelia plans to attend Delta College, where she will complete her 13th year as part of the Early Middle College Program before pursuing a degree in engineering.

Good luck to our Varsity and Middle School Pom teams as they travel to Eastern Michigan University to compete at the Mid-American States on Sunday.

The Varsity team will compete for the Class C/D title, and the Middle School team will compete for the Middle School II title.

Congratulations to our Hemlock Varsity Pom team for taking first place at yesterday’s Michigan Pom Association competition held at SVSU. The team will spend this week preparing before traveling to Eastern Michigan on Sunday to compete in the Mid American PomPon State Championship. Congratulations, ladies!

Lissa Stephan has been a part of our poms program for the past seven years. Her favorite memory is winning the state championship in 2023. Lissa plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University, where she will pursue a degree in early childhood education.

🏀 Huskies Sweep the Yellowjackets! The Hemlock Huskies put together a dominant night, sweeping the Ithaca Yellowjackets in JV Girls, Varsity Girls and Boys action — and doing it in convincing fashion. Between the great hoops, we were treated to awesome performances from our middle and high school state-bound pom teams, some t-shirt toss fun, and a special halftime recognition of our Huskie graduates who earned All-Sport honors. It was incredible to see such a strong showing of Huskie alumni from the Classes of 2025, 2015, 2005, 1995, 1985, 1975, and 1965 in the house. Truly a celebratory night! 🎉 #PullTheSled #GoHuskies
