Maddie Hall has been a part of the softball team all four years of high school. Maddie’s favorite athletic memory is winning softball districts during her freshman year. Maddie plans to attend Delta College to earn a degree in radiography.

Lily Wenzel has competed on the tennis, volleyball, and track and field teams during her high school career. Her favorite athletic memory is winning tennis regionals her sophomore year, both individually and as a team. Lily plans to attend Delta College, where she will complete her 13th year as part of the Early Middle College Program before transferring to a university to earn a bachelor’s degree in a pre dental undergraduate program. After completing her undergraduate studies, she plans to attend dental school and then complete two to three years of residency training to become an orthodontist.

Hemlock Athletics is excited to announce the addition of a Sideline Cheer program.
All current 8th graders through juniors interested in joining the program should attend an informational meeting with Coach Lennox on April 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM in Room 4 at Hemlock High School. She will share more information about the clinic, tryouts, and answer any questions.
No experience is necessary. Just bring a positive attitude and excitement to learn.

Allie Watson will compete in her fourth year of tennis this spring. She was also a part of this year’s inaugural golf team and has been a part of the volleyball program. Her favorite athletic memory is when she and her partner, Claire Beck, won the school’s first regional title at Doubles 1 against Frankenmuth by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Allie plans to attend Michigan State University to study Business and Finance.

Our powerlifters wrapped up their season this past Saturday with four athletes competing at Varsity States. Congratulations to our Hemlock Powerlifters who placed.
Lydia Faubert finished 3rd with a lift total of 505.
Grace Murtha finished 9th with a lift total of 600.
Gabriel Messing finished 8th with a lift total of 1250.
