Math Month kicks off today! Each classroom will be competing to win the coveted Mathball Trophy. We are so excited to highlight and celebrate the importance of Math!
Volunteers needed to help create our year of memories in our school's yearbook! If you are looking for a way to get involved and help support our school, please consider serving on our Yearbook Team. This team will collect pictures of our students, help build content and lay out our yearbook capturing one of our most unique years ever! You will be supported by a team of parent volunteers with direct support from Lifetouch to create our school's yearbook. No experience is necessary - please consider volunteering.

4th graders have spent this semester in STEAM designing and building a theme park. Many of the projects turned out larger than anticipated and would be difficult to bring home on the bus. If your student wishes to bring their project home, please e-mail Mrs. Schmidt at schmidt@hemlockps.com. She will work out a time with you to have the project picked up or dropped off to you. (There is no rush on this - projects will be saved until the end of the school year, if need be.) A picture can also be e-mailed home instead if pick-up or drop-off is not an option. :)

Santa's Christmas Candy Grams will be available for sale Thursday, December 10th & 17th. Candy Grams are holiday colored suckers. Tags will be available for students wanting to purchase one for a friend. Proceeds will go towards purchasing prizes for our PAWS drawings.

Next week (December 7th - 11th), students in grades PK-8 will be in school face-to-face Monday - Thursday. Like usual, Friday is a virtual learning day for all.
