Our 3rd grade Huskies are putting their multiplication skills to work! Our friends in Mrs. Reinhardt’s MTSS group and Mrs. Wilson’s group were busy practicing, problem-solving, and building confidence with those multiplication facts!
Learning math is always more fun when we can learn together, try new strategies, and celebrate those “aha!” moments!
Keep multiplying, Huskies - you’ve got this! ✖️💙

Fore! Our 1st grade friends are hitting the links! 🏌️⛳️
Who knew gym class could be this much fun?! Our first graders have been learning the basics of golf and getting a chance to practice their swings, work on their aim, and, most importantly, have FUN!
We love watching our youngest Huskies try something new, build new skills, and cheer each other on along the way. From first swings to future golf pros, there’s a lot of potential on these “links”!
Keep swinging, Huskies!

Today at K.C. Ling, the more mismatched, the better! Our Huskies had a blast mixing, matching, clashing, and creating some seriously FUN looks for Mis-Match Day! 🤪
From backwards to sideways, stripes with polka dots, and shoes that definitely didn’t get the memo to match - today was proof that sometimes the best combinations are the ones that make absolutely no sense!
Our Huskies were perfectly mis-matched and totally full of fun! 💙

The Ling Line-Up: Meet Ms. Irene!
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school sparkling and our Huskies cared for - Ms. Irene, our Head Custodian! 🧹✨
A lifelong Hemlock Huskie, Ms. Irene grew up and graduated from Hemlock. She has been part of the Hemlock Public Schools family for 19 years, including 12 years as a custodian after previously serving as a paraprofessional.
When she’s not keeping K.C. Ling in tip-top shape, you might find her camping or riding motorcycles with her husband!
Her favorite things include the color blue (us, too, Ms. Irene), Christmas, and Tin Roof ice cream. She also enjoys books by Sager Parker and spending time with her favorite people - her husband, three grown boys, and four grandbabies! 💙
Her favorite part of working at Ling? The kids! And if she weren’t working in education, she says she’d still want to do something involving kids. It’s clear that caring for others is just part of who she is.
Her advice to our Huskies is one we can all carry with us: “Stay true to yourself. Don’t let other kids change you.”
For Ms. Irene, being a Huskie means having pride in everything she does. And we’re certainly proud to have her on our team!
Help us give a big Huskie thank-you to Ms. Irene! 🐾
