Lori Gensch has nominated Jim Lent for this month’s Staff Recognition Highlight.
Mr. Lent retired from the custodial team in 2018. He loved the school environment and the students, and decide to rejoin the Huskie Pack the same day of retirement! He currently is one of our valued recess monitors at Hemlock Elementary and K.C Ling Elementary.
“Mr. Lent is a dedicated staff member and friend. The students and staff have come to rely on him and truly care about him. Students have recently made cards and pictures for him to show how much they care,” shared Hemlock & K.C. Ling Elementary Principal Lori Gensch.
Mr. Lent enjoys his cottage on Long Lake near Hale, Michigan. He has one daughter, Shawn, and was married to his beloved wife, Kay, for 39 years, until she lost the battle with cancer.
