It's time for our #TeacherFeature and today we're featuring Shannon Siler, a fabulous 1st grade teacher at K.C. Ling Elementary.
Along with having taught at Hemlock Public School District for 7 years, here are some other fun facts to know about Mrs. Siler:
• Her nickname as a child was Shrimper, as her twin brother was always about a foot taller than her. She says her dad still calls her shrimper to this day!
• Her favorite subject in school was English Language Arts.
• She always wanted to be a teacher when she grew up.
• If she won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, she would travel the world.
• A quote she lives her life by is: “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars” from Norman Vincent Peale
