This week, our kindergarten classes visited(or will visit) the STEM Center where Ms. Trombley read "Penguin Huddle" and led a hands-on STEM activity. Ms. Schantz and Ms. Kelly’s classes used creativity and math skills to design a shelter to protect a penguin from the sun! 🧠🔢☀️

📊🐾 Math Month has officially begun! Ms. Kenny's class kicked things off by working together, thinking big, and showing how fun math can be. We can’t wait to see all the learning that happens this month! ✨

Just because we are on break doesn't mean the fun(& learning) has to stop!
Here are fun, educational winter activities —mixing learning with seasonal fun ❄️☃️
Snowball Sight Words – Write letters or sight words on paper “snowballs” and have kids read or match them.
Name Snowflakes – Write each child’s name on a paper snowflake to practice name recognition and letter awareness.
Snowman Counting – Build paper snowmen with numbered sections and match the correct number of buttons or dots.
Snow Painting – Paint on snow outside or use cotton and blue paper inside.
Ice Painting – Freeze colored water and paint as it melts.
Have fun & enjoy the break, Huskies!
