Our Young 5’s & Kindergarten friends had a spooktacular time celebrating with classroom parties and our Halloween parade! 🎃
Meanwhile, our teachers went TO INFINITY AND BEYOND with their best Toy Story character costumes! Looks like we’ve got a few toys that escaped Andy’s room!
Happy Halloween from Hemlock Elementary & Early Childhood Center! 🧡🖤

💬 November 3rd Ballot Proposals: What Happens Next?
What happens if the November 3rd ballot proposals pass? What if they don’t? And what does either outcome mean for your child’s school?
Join Principal Cory Snider and Assistant Principal Amanda Sensabaugh for a Questions & Conversation opportunity to learn what both possible outcomes could mean for Hemlock Elementary and K.C. Ling Elementary, including our facilities, educational opportunities, students, and staff.
Our goal is simple: help parents understand the facts, what could change, what would remain the same, and provide an opportunity to ask questions.
No drama. No political debate. Just the facts and an open conversation about our kids and our schools.
📅 Thursday, October 29 | 5:15 PM
📍 K.C. Ling Elementary – New Gym
This conversation is specifically designed for parents and guardians of Hemlock Elementary and K.C. Ling students. We welcome you to join us, learn more, and bring your questions!
Because understanding the possibilities helps us plan for our kids and our schools. 💙

🚌💛 This week was School Bus Safety Week!
Our Elementary students got an up-close look inside one of our school buses while learning all about bus safety! From staying seated to keeping the aisles clear and listening to the bus driver, our Huskies are learning how to be safe bus riders.
A big thank-you to our bus drivers for helping keep our students safe on the road! 🐾🚌
