Meet Scott Schaffer. Scott serves as the President of the Hemlock Sports Boosters and continues to dedicate his time to supporting Hemlock student athletes and athletic programs.
When asked why he continues to volunteer, Scott shared, “I enjoy being involved with Hemlock athletics. Hemlock has a positive atmosphere in athletics. Everyone from the coaches, parents, and athletes are a joy to work with.” His commitment to staying involved reflects his appreciation for the culture and community that surround Huskie Athletics.
Scott’s two children are Hemlock alumni who participated in track, cross country, and basketball. Even though his athletes have graduated, Scott remains actively involved because of his continued belief in and support of Hemlock Schools and the student athletes who represent the district.
The Hemlock Sports Boosters and the Athletic Department host hundreds of events each year, and volunteers like Scott help make those opportunities possible. He encourages others to get involved, sharing that it is an easy way to be involved in Hemlock Athletics and have a good time doing it.
