Meet Noreen Zastrow, a true cornerstone of the Hemlock community. Noreen wears many hats around the district as the K.C. Ling Elementary Dean of Students and the Middle School Athletic Director. In addition, she serves as the Sports Boosters Vice President, volunteering countless hours to support students, families, and Hemlock Athletics. She is also a proud mom of three Hemlock alumni who participated in a wide variety of sports including cross country, football, wrestling, basketball, powerlifting, baseball, and track from middle school through high school.
Although her children are now alumni, Noreen continues to dedicate her time and energy to Hemlock Athletics because she genuinely enjoys supporting the athletes and the Hemlock community. She can often be found volunteering in the concession stand, where she says the work is fun and provides a great opportunity to connect with students, parents, and fellow volunteers. When asked why she would encourage others to volunteer on game days, Noreen shared, “It is a great way to interact with students and parents both in the concession and when they come to visit the concessions.”
Noreen’s dedication to Hemlock Athletics does not go unnoticed. Her commitment and positive energy help make every game day run smoothly and contribute to the supportive environment that makes Hemlock Athletics so special. The Huskie community is incredibly grateful for all she does to support student athletes and enhance the experience for everyone involved.
