Hemlock Athletics is excited to announce plans to welcome back distinguished All-Sport Honorees from the Classes of 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015, and 2025 during a special evening of recognition on Friday, February 6, 2026, when the Huskies take on Ithaca. This event will celebrate generations of outstanding student-athletes who have helped shape the proud tradition of Hemlock athletics.

The All-Sport Award has been given annually since 1958 to celebrate the accomplishments of senior student-athletes. Recipients are voted on by the staff of varsity coaches and are selected as the best athletes of their graduating class. Honorees are typically student-athletes who have competed in multiple varsity sports throughout their high school careers. In the event of a tie, multiple recipients may be awarded in the same class year.

The following All-Sport Honorees will be recognized:

Class of 1965: Gary Sanford

Class of 1975: Greg Princinsky

Class of 1985: Julie Watson and Greg Gorsline

Class of 1995: Kelly Taylor and Jeremy Ward

Class of 2005: Kara Crossett, Alahna Vondette, and Kyle Treib

Class of 2015: Aubrey Alfano and Dylan Smith

Class of 2025: Isabella Curry and Chad Brown

“Recognizing our All-Sport Honorees is one of the most meaningful traditions we have in Hemlock Athletics,” said Director of Athletics Angela Pohl. “These individuals represent decades of excellence, dedication, and pride. Their impact extends far beyond the wins and losses, and it is an honor to welcome them back and celebrate the legacy they helped build.”

During the February 6 contest, honorees in attendance will be recognized for their achievements and lasting impact on Hemlock Athletics. The evening is intended not only as a celebration of past accomplishments, but also as an opportunity to reconnect alumni with the school community and share the continued growth of Hemlock Athletics.

Hemlock Athletics is asking for assistance from the community in helping to spread the word. If you are one of the individuals listed above, or a family member of one of these honorees, including those who may have passed, the district encourages you to reach out so proper recognition can be ensured. Please contact Director of Athletics Angela Pohl via email at pohl@hemlockps.com.

This All-Sport Recognition Night serves as a meaningful reminder that the foundation of today’s success is built on the dedication of those who came before. Hemlock looks forward to honoring these individuals, welcoming them back to campus, and celebrating the shared history that continues to unite Huskies across generations.
