Under the direction of Head Coach Ryan Hyatt, the Hemlock Varsity Boys Soccer team finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 10-8-2. The Huskies displayed determination, teamwork, and class throughout the year, earning their first winning record in a few years and a first-round district victory.

The team faced the season with youth, featuring only two returning seniors. Despite that, they held their own against a challenging schedule filled with experienced and talented programs. Hemlock came away with several impressive wins and valuable lessons that fueled their growth as a team.

“The boys learned to win and to win with class this year,” said Coach Hyatt. “We had several big games, and they always played with integrity. That speaks to their understanding of building a high-quality program.”

Among their highlights, the Huskies claimed the 2025 BlueJay Invitational Championship and earned a first-round district win. Captains Brennan Meyer, Braden Turner, and Colton Siler led by example, motivating their teammates to compete at their highest level. Turner and the Huskie defense were outstanding all season, recording nine clean sheets. Offensively, Charlie Hyatt led the team with 17 goals and 10 assists, followed by Landon Wardin with 14 goals and Mason Lavigne with 7 goals and 8 assists. Eddie Dearman added 4 assists, and Brennan Meyer contributed 3.

Memorable moments from the season included sending the seniors off with a 4-0 win over USA on Senior Night and a dominant 3-0 victory over Nouvel during “Pink Out Night.” Statistically, the Huskies doubled their wins from last season, tripled their goals scored, and nearly doubled their shutouts.
