weight room

Hemlock Athletics is excited to welcome Robert Knapik to the Huskie Pack as the new weight room monitor. In this role, Knapik will provide supervision, guidance, and support for Hemlock student-athletes as they continue to develop their strength and conditioning.

Knapik will oversee the weight room for Hemlock student-athletes, generally on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. These sessions give student-athletes the opportunity to train in a structured and supportive environment outside of their team activities, whether in or out of season. Student-athletes may only use the weight room during their team’s scheduled sessions with a coach or during Coach Knapik’s open lifting hours.

A proud Hemlock alumnus from the Class of 2022, Knapik attends Northwood University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management. He was a member of the Northwood football team for three years, gaining valuable experience in strength training, teamwork, and athletic discipline.

Director of Athletics Angela Pohl shared, “We’re excited to have Robert back home and working with our student-athletes. His experience and connection to Hemlock will make a great impact.”

With the addition of Coach Knapik, Hemlock Athletics continues to expand opportunities for its student-athletes to grow both on and off the field. The district looks forward to the positive impact his enthusiasm and experience will bring to the Huskie athletic community.
