2025 Track Teams

The 2025 Hemlock Boys & Girls Track team was made up of about 16 girls and 20 boys this season. While these numbers may seem small compared to other local programs, our numbers are on the rise and this group never backed down from a challenge. Talented, determined, and hard-working, they consistently demonstrated grit and perseverance throughout the season.

Despite facing adversity at several meets and rarely competing at full strength, the team never lost sight of their goals. Their record may not tell the full story, but their effort and heart spoke volumes. The Boys placed third at the Fulton Invitational, while the Girls earned runner-up finishes at both the Fulton and Ovid-Elsie Invitationals. Throughout the season, our athletes continued to show steady improvement, earning personal records meet after meet.

A major thank you goes out to the parents, fans, and volunteers. Your willingness to help made a major impact as we hosted six track meets at Hemlock this year and it is near easy to run a meet without the support of you. We received several compliments from other teams and fans on how we represented the sport and ran a smooth and efficient meet.

As always, special thanks to the Hemlock Sports Boosters!

Thank you to our amazing coaching staff Mrs. Bebow, Mrs. Breternitz, Mr. Earle, and Ms. Yucker the team’s success is a direct correlation of your knowledge, effort, and passion toward our athletes.

Looking ahead to next season, several key contributors are set to return, bringing experience and leadership back to the team. We’re also excited to welcome a talented group of incoming freshmen on both the boys and girls sides. Many of these student-athletes left their mark on the Middle School track program this past season, setting multiple school records and building strong momentum. With this incoming talent and a solid returning core, the future of Hemlock Track & Field looks bright as we continue to grow the program!

Go Huskies!
