Pushing the Go Button

Saginaw Control and Engineering and Kerkau Manufacturing have partnered to donate $50k to help push the "Go Button" on the Lockwood STEM Center Expansion.

Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, "It is partners like this that are paving the way for a better future for our students, our community, and our region.

The expansion will add 4,500 square feet of learning space and increase the footprint of the STEM Center to over 10,000 square feet.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us, including raising the final $98,000+, but we are at a tipping point with the scales pushing this project forward.

Killingbeck also said, "the future is coming, and it is not going to ask our permission; at Hemlock Public School District, we are preparing students for their future, not our past."
