Halloween

Get ready for a parade of ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and everything in between! K.C. Ling Elementary and Hemlock Elementary are preparing for one of the most exciting traditions of the school year, their annual Halloween Parade!

The parade will take place on Friday, October 30, at 1:45 p.m. in the bus loop, and all parents and families are invited to attend. Students will have the opportunity to show off their creative costumes, share some smiles, and make memories with their classmates, teachers, and families.

"Halloween is one of those days our students look forward to all year, and we love being able to make it special for them," said Cory Snider, Principal of K.C. Ling and Hemlock Elementary. "These are the moments that make elementary school so much fun. Seeing our students excited, our staff getting into the spirit, and our families coming together is what makes our school community so special. We want our kids to remember these experiences long after they leave our buildings."

With a large crowd expected, families planning to sign their students out following the parade are asked to review the Halloween dismissal procedures outlined in the schools' weekly newsletter or on their Facebook page.

"We know it's going to be a busy afternoon, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we work through dismissal," Snider added. "Our number one priority will always be student safety. We have a plan in place to make the process as smooth as possible, and we appreciate our families working with us to keep all of our Huskies safe."

From creative costumes to plenty of Halloween excitement, Friday promises to be a memorable afternoon for students and families alike.

K.C. Ling and Hemlock Elementary look forward to welcoming their Huskie families for an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and a little Halloween magic.
