Network security looks a lot different than it used to. Threat actors are constantly evolving which means our network security must do the same.
Hemlock Public School District partnered with Lumu Technologies for 24/7 network defense for the 2025-2026 school year. This technology monitors network traffic and automatically blocks domains that have been known to be malicious. From August 2025 to now, Lumu has scanned and reviewed nearly three billion domains.
Director of Innovation, Technology, and Media Services, Alex Haltom emphasized the importance of staying ahead of evolving threats. “Lumu is the equivalent of having a dedicated network team work around the clock to keep our network traffic free of malware, phishing, and more.”
Hemlock Public School District is committed to continuously improving our technology tools to create an environment of safe internet use.
