Hemlock Public School District is excited to welcome the next generation of Huskies as it prepares for Kindergarten Roundup on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 PM. Families with children who will be entering kindergarten for the upcoming school year are encouraged to attend this special event designed to introduce students and parents to the school community.
Kindergarten Roundup is an important first step in a child’s educational journey. During the evening, families will have the opportunity to learn about the district’s kindergarten program, meet school staff, and explore the welcoming learning environment that awaits their child. Parents will receive helpful information about registration, daily routines, and the many opportunities available to young learners at Hemlock Public Schools.
The event is designed to be both informative and engaging. Families will get a glimpse into what a typical kindergarten experience looks like while learning how the district supports students academically, socially, and emotionally from their very first day of school.
Hemlock Public Schools is committed to creating a strong start for every child. The kindergarten program focuses on building foundational literacy and math skills while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Classrooms are designed to help students grow in confidence, develop friendships, and begin their journey as part of the Huskie Pack.
Parents and guardians of children who will be five years old on or before September 1 are encouraged to attend. Even if families are still exploring their options or have questions about enrollment, Kindergarten Roundup is a great opportunity to learn more about the district and the supportive community that surrounds its students.
Families should plan to attend on March 12 at 6:00 PM and come ready to learn, explore, and take the first step toward an exciting kindergarten year.
