KEY DATES AT A GLANCE:
  • Adopted policy (2025–26): The Board approved a limited School of Choice policy with three application windows for 2025–26 to balance high interest with small class sizes and individual attention. 

    • Window 1: March 10 – 24, 2025

    • Window 2: July 28 – August 11, 2025. 

    • 2nd Semester Window: January 5, 2026 - January 29, 2026

  2. Complete the School of Choice application

    Submit the online application during the posted window (spring, summer or winter). If a grade level has limited space, timely and complete applications are essential. (Hemlock Public School District)

  3. Gather required documents

    To finalize enrollment, be prepared to provide the standard documents listed on our site and in elementary registration notices:

  • Child’s original birth certificate

  • Proof of residency (current utility bill, lease, or mortgage with correct name and address; see page for accepted types)

  • Up-to-date immunization record

  • Parent/guardian photo ID (copy made at school)

  • Guardianship/custody papers (if applicable)

  • School of Choice paperwork (if applicable)
