Hemlock Public School District and Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) have formalized an Educational Placement Agreement, creating new opportunities for SVSU students to gain valuable hands-on experience within Hemlock schools. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to education, mentorship, and preparing the next generation of educators and professionals.
This agreement allows SVSU students, primarily those studying education, counseling, or social work, to complete required fieldwork such as student teaching, internships, and other practical learning experiences at Hemlock Public School District. These experiences are vital to SVSU students’ academic programs and professional preparation, providing real-world application of their university coursework.
University students will be placed in Hemlock classrooms under the guidance of experienced educators, gaining critical field experience as part of their preparation for careers in education. The partnership helps develop the next generation of teachers while reinforcing Hemlock’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and support for future professionals.
