As Hemlock Public School District moves forward with the exciting appointment of Principal Lori Gensch to lead Hemlock Middle School, we are equally focused on ensuring strong leadership and support for our youngest learners at Hemlock and K.C. Ling Elementary Schools.
Over the past four years, Principal Cory Snider has consistently demonstrated leadership skills. He first served as our district’s athletic director, then transitioned into a dual role as both athletic director and Principal of Hemlock Elementary, and this past year, he has served exclusively as Principal of Hemlock Elementary. Throughout these roles, Principal Snider has brought energy, care, and a clear focus on student success.
Board of Education President Matt Wesener added, “Hemlock Public School District has always been committed to providing the very best for our students and community. Principal Snider’s leadership, energy, and student-centered focus make him the right person to help lead our elementary buildings forward. We are excited to see how this next chapter unfolds.”
As we look ahead, it makes sense to review and enhance how we provide leadership at the elementary level. For the 2025-2026 school year, Principal Snider will continue to lead our elementary programs. We are currently exploring leadership structures that may include him serving as Co-Principal with another building leader across both elementary schools, as Head Principal with an Assistant Principal, or another configuration that ensures the level of excellence our students, families, and staff have come to expect.
