Update

Dear Keyboard Warrior,

Occasionally, we at Hemlock Public School District observe you typing away.

We often reach out and try to be helpful or at least share what we are doing, and that does not always work. Sometimes, we don't see your comments, and other times we do not respond, as your appetite for reason is less than ideal, and your desire to argue or debate exceeds the time we can spare.

Recently, an elderly gentleman stopped by and made some jabs regarding some of your keyboard warrior comments, and then he continued to say, "Keep up the good work, and recognize that most of those keyboard warriors are not students, parents, or staff of the district. They are individuals for whom your dirt pile is the most interesting thing in their line of sight these days." They may have shared some other things too colorful to share here.

So, Keyboard Warriors, when the dust settles, our goal at Hemlock Public School District is not "to be right;" it's to "get it right" for our students, for our parents, for our staff, and for our community as a whole. And sometimes, getting it right takes more time than you have patience.

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, give me a call at (989) 642-5282, it will likely get you further than random social media comments.

Go Huskies!
