Hemlock Public School District is proud to announce that they are now accepting nominations for the 2023 Hall of Fame class. This will be the third annual class to be inducted into the Huskie Hall of Fame, with nominations being accepted until May 31, 2023.
The Hemlock Hall of Fame recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals who have made a significant impact on Hemlock Public School District. There are three categories of recipients: Distinguished Alumni, Athletic Honors, and Significant Contributors. The Hall of Fame will accept applicants in all three categories, but only one member will be inducted per year, rotating between the categories.
Last year, the Hall of Fame welcomed its inaugural member, Mr. Carl Gippert, in the Special Contributors category. Mr. Gippert was honored at halftime of a varsity football game with a wonderful ceremony, and many of his former students returned to recognize his accomplishments.
"We are excited to continue the tradition of honoring individual accomplishments and contributions to our school district," said Board President Matt Wesner. "It is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our alumni, athletes, and community members that we have so many outstanding individuals to consider for induction."
To nominate someone for the Hall of Fame, please fill out the nomination form found by clicking here. Nominations will be accepted until May 31, 2023. The inductee will be announced in August 2023, and the induction ceremony will take place during the fall sports season.
