Pompon States

The Hemlock High School Varsity Pompon Team completes their season with an exclamation point, finishing first place at States at Eastern Michigan University on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Over the last half-dozen years, the squad has nearly swept States with first-place finishes with the exception of 2022, making this the team's fifth State title in six years.

The squad is comprised of 10 girls; Torance Ball (12), Emily Davis (9), Jade Huizar (10), Alyssa Rivette (11), Lexie Rump (10), Alaina Rundell (11), Lissa Stephan (9), Hope Watson (11), Madison Weber (9), and Aubrey Wieber (9), and are coached by Brooke Gorsline, who is assisted by Jenna Galonska and Alison Grove.

Coach Brooke Gorsline said, "I, along with the other coaches, are so very proud of our team! Despite injuries, sicknesses, or anything else that may have been thrown at them, they focused on achieving their goals! Not only did they come home state champions, but they also came home with memories that they will have forever."

The Huskie Pack is known not only for its dominance in the Pompon world, but also for its resilience, hard work, and dedication.
