Bryan is married to Kelly, and they have two children: Kinsley and Brylee, who both attend Hemlock Public School District. Bryan and his wife are both Hemlock High School alumni the Class of 1997. Bryan went on to pursue his business degree from Northwood University. Bryan currently manages the Grand Banquet Center in Bay City, Michigan. His business background and shared passion for the success of the school and community led him to board service.

Bryan believes the single greatest challenge our district faces is balancing growth with class sizes, and providing an engaging, robust, and appropriate curriculum to all students. He feels the mission/vision of the school district is to manage a safe, orderly, and challenging learning environment as we help students grow as learners and citizens to reach their highest individual potential. Bryan is most proud of the way are district is able to adapt, stay ahead of the curve, and work together as a team.
