NEW INFORMATION -     

Christmas Dance- will be on Tuesday, December 18th from 2:45 - 4:30.  You must be grade and discipline eligible and you can not have any overdue library books to attend the dance. In order to have the dance we will need parent chaperones so please ask your parents to help out and let Ms. Ludlum or Mrs. Curtiss know ASAP.

Reindeer Grams- we have order forms and a drop off box in the office for reindeer grams.  They are .50 each and all orders must be turned in by December 14th. Please make sure you have the correct amount of money for your order.

Middle School Christmas Band Concert-  will be December 19th in the High School gymnasium starting at 7:00 p.m..

Robotics Night-We will be having a Robotics Night at our home basketball game on Tuesday, December 11th. he event will take place 5-7:30pm in the high school student center and media center. You will be able to see first hand what our kids are creating and learning with these programs. Kids will even get to drive the robot! Bring the family out for a great event and then stay to see some basketball. The varsity girls will play at 6pm and then the varsity boys at 7:30pm against St. Charles.

Kids on any of the teams  - wear your robotics shirts! Show your family and friends what you have been working on!

Baseball Holiday Camp-  Northwood University is hosting a 13 and under baseball camp December 27th & 28th at their University Turf Building.  Special Guest Instructors will include current MLB players. Registration forms are in the office.

 

SPORTS/CLUBS-

NJHS- there will be a meeting Thursday during 1st  lunch in room 2.

5th-8th grade MS Club Softball- sign-up sheet is in the office.

8th grade girls basketball- Our Incredible Nine, came out strong against the St. Charles Bulldogs.  Our girls never let up their determination to dominate their court. They took down the dogs 50-41, This game was the true meaning of "teamwork."

Regan Finkbeiner swished four 3's and had a total of 22 points. Rags also grabbed 6 rebounds and had 1 steal for the Huskies.

Breanna Turner drained one 3 putting up a total of 15 points. Cupid also took down 5 rebounds. Chloe Watson nailed two 3's ending the game with 12 points. Weasel pulled down 7 rebounds and snagged 2 steals against the Bulldogs.

Ella "Pips" Wardlow used her strength for 5 rebounds and also put up 2 points for Hemlock. Alyssa Dearman played her her heart out and snatched 7 rebounds.

Izzy Loucks was a powerhouse under the basket. Zeik grabbed a total 10 rebounds, one steal, stayed strong for 4 blocks, and helped her team with 2 points. Girls, you played an amazing game! Way to work as one.......TOGETHER!!!

7th Grade Girls Basketball- put up an awesome fight Monday night but still fell short at St Charles losing 38-28. After falling to the Bulldogs by 30 points 3 weeks ago, the girls had nothing but revenge on their minds. It almost came together as Riley LaFrance and Madi Penny made back to back baskets to get the Huskies within 4 points but St Charles answered back with 3 baskets in a row to put the game out of reach.

Riley led the Huskies with a season high 20 points. Madi and Emma Streich notched 3 points each and Sophia Hauffe added 2. All the girls played a great game and will try to pick up a win at Shepherd Wednesday. *****NO PRACTICE TONIGHT FOR 7TH & 8TH GRADE*****
