Josh Chase

Hemlock, MI- The Hemlock Business Association hosted their annual fall harvest dinner and award ceremony on October 13th at Maple Grille. The evening was a success with people enjoy a great meal, fellowshipping with the community, and award recipients receiving honor.

Board President Matt Wesener said “Congratulations to Mr. Josh Chase. My children were lucky enough to have Josh as both an instructor and educational leader and in working with Josh myself I can say he is truly deserving of this recognition. Thank you Josh and congratulations!.”

The Hemlock Business Association also known as HBA has been hosting the event for several years and Principal Joshua Chase joins an elite group of educators with his being honored as educator of the year 2021.

HBA President David Early, provided the audience with Chase’s educational vitae and upon receiving the award Chase gave those in attendance a brief speech, thanking them for their support and praising the school and community as a great place.

Superintendent Dr. Don Killingbeck added “Joshua Chase has been a constant figure at Hemlock Public School District, now heading into his third decade with the district. His focus on helping students succeed, his servant heart, and his interpersonal skills are just a few reasons why he is educator of the year 2021.”
