Hemlock, MI- Hemlock Middle School has seen a number of updates from the end of last year to the beginning of this year. Many classrooms have seen updates such as new carpet, new paint, and some even getting new classroom furniture. These updates are not only helping our rooms to feel more comfortable, but more importantly more functional.
Principal Chase says, “The improvements to our campus are amazing. The addition of the drop off lane has made things much safer for our kids. Hemlock is such a great community and I have been blessed to be a part of it for so many years.”
Some of the biggest improvements have been in our cafeteria. The room has been completely repainted with Huskie pride colors and new flooring has been installed. The room has been outfitted with booth type seating as well as high-top table options for students.
Long-time food service employee Sue Knowlton says “The new space is very inviting and warm. The students have a variety of seating and they truly appreciate the upgrade. It’s nice to see the students interact and enjoy the space.”
