Lori Gensch has nominated Mrs. Amanda Sensabaugh for this month’s Staff Recognition Highlight. Mrs. Sensabaugh is in her 9th-year of teaching. She is currently a 2nd-grade teacher at K.C. Ling Elementary.
“Mrs. Sensabaugh is the epitome of an elementary teacher. She is passionate about her career, her students, and her community. She goes above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis to ensure her students are succeeding academically, socially, and emotionally,” shared Hemlock and K.C. Ling Elementary Principal Lori Gensch.
Mrs. Sensabaugh is married to her husband Dustin, and together they have one son, Lawson. They are expecting their second child later this spring. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, painting furniture, and shopping.
When asked what makes her the proudest as a teacher, she shared, “When students show one another unprovoked kindness.”
