NEW INFORMATION

8th Grade- Hemlock High School Freshman Open House will be held on Wednesday, February 7th @7:30 p.m.. This will give each of you an opportunity to see Hemlock High School, see the class offerings in the building and meet some high school students. This meeting will take place in the High School Auditorium.

Head to Head- practice tests are now available in the Head to Head classroom.

Spring Pictures- February 16th, order forms are in the office.

**7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball- Monday’s game is away at Standish**

***A Teams Only***

7th Grade Boys Basketball-A team earned their first victory of the season over Pinconning on Wednesday, 44-33. The Huskies were down by 3 at halftime and proceeded to outscore the Spartans by 14 points in the second half. Liam Zastrow and Luke Zastrow shared tremendous success in their pick and roll game in the second half. Liam led all Hemlock scorers with 13 points. Luke was huge on the defensive end and really took care of the basketball from his point guard position in the second half. Caiden Larkin played his best game of the season, scoring 12 points. Dennis Schaffer delivered the dagger with a vital 3 point basket midway through the 4th quarter.

The A team travels to Standish on Monday.

Pom Pon- Good Luck to our Pom teams this weekend High School and Middle School. They travel to MSU to compete at the state finals.

GENERAL INFORMATION-

Middle School Theater’s Spring Play- sign-up sheets and information are posted in front of the library. Tryouts are Feb 1st and 2nd. Open to all 6th-8th graders. If you have any questions, email Mrs. Scott.(msdrama@hemlockps.com)
