Keith Green has nominated Jamie Galbraith for this month’s Staff Recognition Highlight. Jamie Galbraith is the district’s athletic assistant, and so much more when it comes to the instrumental structure of Hemlock High School.
“A wise person once said that a school does not run without its secretaries. I couldn't agree more when we are discussing Mrs. Galbraith and what she does for Hemlock High School,” shared Keith Green Hemlock High School Principal.
Mrs. Galbraith is the backbone of many of our school’s accomplishments. She has developed communication platforms for our parents using our social media and communication in the weekly announcements. Mrs. Galbraith has also transformed many of the events that we host, and always has our athletes and our spectators in mind while creating experiences and memories along-the-way. When you attend the special events nights such as “Basketball with Santa,” or “Military Appreciation Night,” many of those are her ideas and her efforts to make them a success.
Each season Mrs. Galbraith selects and designs posters around the building to bring a sense of school pride and school spirit.
“When we walk into the school and see our pictures on the wall we love it! We know that everyone in the school will be with us on the field when we are playing, and the posters are a reminder that we play for more than just ourselves,” shared Senior Brayden Green.
