NEW INFORMATION
Christmas/Holiday Pajama Day- TOMORROW, DECEMBER 20TH
Holiday Break- Last day of school Wednesday, December 20th, school resumes January 3rd.
Christmas Concert- TOMORROW 7:00 @ Hemlock High School gymnasium.
7th and 8th Grade Bands should wear their band polo, khaki pants, and nice dress shoes. The 6th grade band should dress in nice dress clothes. For the reception after the concert we are asking for the following:
6th grade- 1 case of water from each student
7-12th grade- 1 dozen cookies from each student.
LOST AND FOUND- please stop by the table outside the front lobby and claim items that may belong to you. These items will be taken to Goodwill if not claimed before winter break.
SPORTS/CLUBS-
7th grade Girls Basketball-Hemlock 7th grade girls are back on track! They took down Swan Valley 51-37 - It was a great game. Everyone played wonderful!!! Regan Finkbeiner lead the team with 24 points and several steals, Breanna Turner added 8 points with tremendous defense., Ella Wardlow contributed 7 points and awesome rebounds. Morgan Walle added 4 and Izzy Loucks added 2. Averi Hall and Chloe Watson also worked hard on defense with many steals and great teamwork! Way to go girls!!!!
8th grade Girls Basketball- lost last nights game to Swan Valley 49-14. Alexia Grzenia led the Huskies with 5 points and a bazillion steals on defense. Sami Seidel, Bethany Beck and Cammy Deweese also scored. The Huskies play their final game of the season tonight at home against Carrolton.
Spring Softball Club 6th-8th girls- If you have any interest in playing softball in the spring. We have a sign-up sheet in the office.
7th Grade Boys Basketball- Practice will begin at 3:00p.m. the first day we return from the Holiday break. Practices will run until 4:15 p.m.. We will practice Monday-Friday until the game schedule begins. You must have a physical on file and have a blue ticket from Mrs. Galbraith, indicating your clearance for participation.
7th and 8th grade boys basketball- sign-up sheets are in the office. Please stop by before or after school, or during your lunch to sign up. Mrs. Galbraith will be here (Wednesday) Dec. 20th and Jan.3rd during lunch to hand out “try-out” tickets if your physical has been turned in. Open gyms (7th & 8th grade) Dec. 15, 7:30-9p.m., Dec. 20, 8-9p.m., Dec. 28, 7:30-9p.m.. Practices will begin Jan.3, 8th grade 4:30-6 p.m., 7th grade 3-4:30 p.m..****open gyms will include 7th grade*****

Yearbooks- Order forms are located in the office. You can order your yearbook by filling out an order form and dropping it off in the office, or they can be ordered on-line.
Washington DC Raffle- Help support our 8th grade students by purchasing a raffle ticket for $10.00. Tickets can be purchased in the Middle School office or at the board office.
