NEW INFORMATION -

NJHS- Our penny drive will  run through Friday November 17th. This penny drive will be supporting a Hemlock student (Scott Gunther) and his battle with cancer. Please bring in your spare change and help us support this family.  

Hemlock Youth basketball-sports booster will have a table set up in our lobby (today) November 8 and November 21 from 5:30-6:30 to take sign-ups for youth basketball. This is for Pre-k thru 6th grade. The cost is $40.00 per child.  You can also register online at http://www.hemlockyouthsports.com/ starting November 1. There are sign-up sheets available in the office.

Mid Michigan Magic Volleyball- We have flyers in the office for any girls 5th-8th grade interested in learning and growing their skills while playing for a great travel volleyball program.

SPORTS/CLUBS- 8th grade girls basketball team opened their season this week with 2 hard fought losses at the hands of Pinconning and Freeland.  On Monday, they travelled to Pinconning to open the season and suffered a 38-14 defeat to the Spartans. Sammi Seidel, Bethany Beck and Cammy Deweese each had 4 points to lead the way while Helena Marietta chipped in the other 2.  Last night, Freeland came to town and the Huskies played to almost the same score falling to the Falcons 32-11. Bethany Beck tossed in 5 points Reagan Keyser had 4 while Alex Grzenia rounded it off with 2 points.  Today and tomorrow because of the half days the 8th graders will practice from 4 until 5:30.

November 9 & 10  half days- students are excused at 11:09

Thomas Township Parks & Recreation Archery- Registration deadline is December 8th. Class sizes are limited. Flyers are in the office

Yearbooks-  Order forms are located in the office. You can order your yearbook by filling out an order form and dropping it off in the office,  or they can be ordered on-line.

Saginaw Spirit Hockey-The Saginaw Spirit Hockey Team is hosting Robotics Night on Sunday, November 19th. The doors open at 4:00 to view robots from  the surrounding area.  The hockey game starts at 5:30. Ticket order forms are available in the office and must be  turned in to the office by November 13th.
